[Food Tasting] Spicy Thai-Thai Cafe

Alight from Aljunied MRT and walk a little further in, located just behind Geylang East Centre Market, one can get to enjoy delicious and authentic Thai cuisine from Spicy Thai-Thai Cafe! The business's second outlet opened since 2013, where first located in Jalan Besar.

Thanks to my friends and Christina, i had the opportunity to have a taste of the food served by Spicy Thai-Thai Cafe some time ago. A place that offers authentic Thai cuisine (following the north-east culture), Thai steamboat and also Thai Mookata all in one restaurant. Wonderful company, delicious food!

Some of the drinks we ordered that evening - Thai Ice Bandung, Signature Thai Ice Milk Tea, and Ice Lemongrass!

They offer condiment of different dressings made in-house that is sure to stimulate one's appetite when dipped with!

Fish Maw Crab Meat Abalone Soup in Coconut (S$28) - Interestingly served in a coconut husk that add fragance and sweetness to the broth. The soup contained fish maw, crab meat, mushrooms, and two pieces of 10-head Abalone. Flavourful and comfortable to have! The serving size can be shared among two person.

Thai Style Otak (Hommok) (S$18) - Another interesting dish that is served in a coconut husk. Apart from just Otah, there's also prawns, squids and coconut flesh in it. Topped with Thai Basil and chopped Chilli.

Thai Walking Cat Fish with Spicy Lemon Soup (S$35) - Unique choice of using Catfish for a much tender and softer meat. This dish is prepared and served using charcoal to keep a constant heat. In this case, we are also able to enjoy the fish's most natural collagen. This dish can be changed to sea bass too if preferred. Spicy level is strong and overall a very appetising dish. The sauce is great too!

BBQ Pork Belly (S$18) - Well-cooked and a must to order if you visit this place. We love the flavour and the tenderness of the meat!

Thai Dill Omelette (Cha Om) (S$10) - Thai dill makes the omelette turns out juicier and tastier!

Cold Tofu with Special Thai Seafood Sauce (S$15) - Tofu has always been my favourite since young and this one here definitely pass the standard. We all love its delicious, flavourful sauce all over the soft silken cold Tofu!

Lala Bee Hoon (S$18) - We love the broth, spicy yet addictive!

Deep Fried Kang Kong with Special Thai Sauce (S$10) - My first time trying Fried Kang Kang. This one here is cooked till very crispy and tasty. The Fried Kang Kang pairs really well with the special sauce that comes along. Pretty much like eating vegetable Tempura.

Thai Basil Crab (Seasonal Price) - This dish don't just looks good but the sauce was too spicy for me to take although its really yummy. Generous portion, great for a group to enjoy!

Many thanks to the restaurant owner, Mr. Ron, for having us over for such a great treat! =)

The restaurant started its operation since January 2013 with dishes all prepared by experienced Thai Chefs. Their Mookata / Jim Jum at S$35 nett price suitable for 2-3 person.

[Product Launch] XBOX ONE S GEARS OF WAR 4 LIMITED EDITION 2TB BUNDLE

Feels good to be back attending event again. Last night, i had the opportunity to be one of the first few to get to know about the latest news from XBOX Showcase 2016 held at Microsoft Auditorium.

Selfie with my brother (the Xbox fanatic) while waiting for the talk to start..

It was announced by Microsoft on the arrival of the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Bundle - the first custom-designed Xbox One S bundle ever made, delighting many fans and gamers at the event.

In full rusty red, the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Bundle was designed to resemble a unique piece of hardware lifted right out of the game, bearing the battle marks of surviving a desperate fight with Gears of War 4's ferocious new enemies - the Swarm. To offer players the ultimate Gears of War 4 gaming experience, there are laser-etched scratches on the console's chassis and bloody thumbprints on the controller's red metallic D-pad.

Available in Singapore from 25 November 2016 and retail priced at S$699, the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Bundle includes a battle-weathered custom Xbox One S console with a 2TB hard drive, an all-new Gears of War 4 Crimson Omen Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller, full game download of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition for both Xbox One and Windows 10, a Gears of War 4 Season Pass and eight additional Gear Packs!

Come this September 2016, gamers can look forward to incredible new games for Xbox and Windows 10 as well - including all-time favourites Forza Horizon 3 and Dead Rising 4, Asian originals ReCore and Scalebound, and real-time strategy games such as Halo Wars 2!

That's mr. Zeph Stuart, Head of Xbox and Windows Gaming, Consumer Channels Group Asia, Microsoft, making the annoucement at the event!

Also at the event, all of us were given the opportunity to get the ultimate hands-on gaming experience! Thanks to Microsoft for such a wonderful experience!! =)

Gaming experience on PC running on Windows 10 looks incredibly awesome! Here, they recommend AFTERSHOCK latest S-series.
